  1. About Magellan Importer
  2.  
  3. Two kind of Importer programs are included in this package.
  4.  
  5. 1. Magellan Importer for importing e-mail messages.
  6. 2. Magellan Address Importer for importing e-mail addresses or Address book .
  7.

  9. Magellan Importer can import messages from following software.
  10.  
  11.                            Eudora / Eudora Pro 2.x/3.x/4.x
  12.                            Netscape Communicator 4.x
  13.                            Outlook Express 4.5/5.0
  14.  
  15. To import, start up Magellan importer first, then select e-mail software and follow the instruction window.

  19. Magellan Address Importer can import e-mail addresses or Address Book of other e-mail software.

  21. Following Address Book is supported.

  34. To import, start up Magellan Address importer first, then select e-mail software and follow the instruction window.

  36. As import is done by coping, original data is not lost or changed. If Apple Script is not installed to your computer, both Magellan Importer does not work.

  41. Magellan Importer takes time to import e-mail or addresses. It is recommended to do import operation when you have enough time.

  44. *If original data is large size, Magellan import cannot be done successfully because of out of memory. In that case, increase memory requirement of each Scripts in the Importer Scripts folder at the memory information window.

  46. * According to the language encoding of each e-mail software, it is possible you have to change encoding of message on Magellan.
  47.  
  48. * Imported Netscape Communicator nickname possibly have garbage characters because addresses file has exported by Unicode.
  49.  
  50. * Please be understood that Magellan Importer cannot support all e-mail software perfectly because of original data is different in each case.

  52. * If one name of Address Book has multiple e-mail addresses, either address will be skipped. Also, comment cannot be imported.

  55. Important Notice

  57. Magellan Importer works on AppleScript. If import has not completed successfully, try the following.
  58. * Some version of AppleScript causes problem of memory leak. When Importer was stopped, try importing divided file which consists of about 50 messages or addresses.
